Yelp certainly has grown since our beginnings in 2004. What started as one community in San Francisco has developed into thriving Yelp communities in 21 countries across the globe, with an IPO in March 2012 and now more than 100 million monthly unique visitors coming to the site as of Q1 2013 (source: Google Analytics).
But no good thing comes easy, and we’ve had our share of learning experiences along the way.
